Vanderbilt Commodores getting torched on Twitter for terrible start against Georgia
Vanderbilt didn’t play Georgia last season due to COVID-19 issues at the end of the year.
It seems Georgia has saved up some resentment for this year’s game in Nashville.
With 6:42 left in the first quarter, the Bulldogs already held a massive 28-0 lead over the hapless Commodores. JT Daniels, Brock Bowers and the defense were all firing on all cylinders and it was clear this was a hopeless mismatch for the Commodores.
Naturally, that led to fans taking to Twitter to call out Vanderbilt for not fielding a competitive team this year:
The Georgia Points vs. Vanderbilt Yards competition is gonna be FIERCE

Dragging Vanderbilt up and down their own field after they chickened out of UGA’s Senior Day last year >>>

I’m beginning to think that Vanderbilt may not be able to beat Georgia today. Stay tuned.

Looks like Georgia-Vanderbilt already being ruled another "no contest."

Vanderbilt are basically a division 2 team at this point. SEC should replace them with Coastal Carolina

At some point you have to worry about the safety of the Vanderbilt players…
And there is 7:51 left in the 1st quarter.#GoDawgs

I love how Vanderbilt wears black to their own funeral.

I know Vanderbilt is in the SEC but I wouldn't want to play "Home" games where every opponents fanbase fills the stadium

Will the Commodores score at all this year? We’ll find out over the next 3.5 quarters, but it doesn’t look good thus far.
