Vanderbilt drops hype video for Saturday clash with Hawaii
Vanderbilt returns to action in Week 0 with a home contest vs. Hawaii on Aug. 26 (7:30 p.m. EST/SEC Network).

This is the second season in a row that Vanderbilt opens up vs. Hawaii, after a 63-10 victory in 2022. Vanderbilt has posted a mark of 7-17 under head coach Clark Lea. The Commodores doubled their win total last season from Lea’s inaugural campaign.
Vanderbilt ranked No. 1 in the SEC last season in touchdowns combined between defense and special teams (4), while also being No. 26 nationally in sacks allowed (1.25 per game). Additionally, the Commodores were No. 12 nationally with just 6 interceptions thrown.
Vanderbilt wide receiver Will Sheppard finished second in the SEC last season with 9 touchdown receptions.
Attendance at FirstBank Stadium will be 28,500 because of construction being done in each end zone.
