Vanderbilt is the reigning national champion in college baseball and returns star pitcher Kumar Rocker to the rotation.
Joining him is freshman RHP Jack Leiter, son of former MLB star Al Leiter.
The younger Leiter made his Vandy debut on Tuesday against South Alabama and was magnificent. He struck out 12 batters while allowing no hits and only 1 walk in 5 innings of work. Here are a couple of his strikeout pitches:

If he can continue to pitch like that moving forward, Vanderbilt is going to be hard to beat once again this season.
He still has some work to do, but this was about as great of a debut as he could have hoped for.
