Vanderbilt couldn’t manage to beat Florida last weekend, falling 13-6, but it did just receive some good news out of the Sunshine State.

James Bostic Jr., a 3-star wide receiver prospect from Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, announced his commitment to the Commodores via Twitter on Tuesday.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound receiver is rated the No. 243 prospect at his position for the Class of 2017 and the No. 283 prospect from the state of Florida. He is the 11th commitment for Vanderbilt’s 2017 class and the first receiver pledge.
