The Vanderbilt Commodores have lost a good portion of their coaching staff already this offseason.

Head coach Derek Mason will remain in charge in 2020, but he’ll be surrounded by a lot of new faces, especially after Saturday’s news.

Per The Tennessean, CB coach Terrence Brown is heading out west to join the Washington Huskies’ staff:

He is the fourth assistant to leave or not be retained on Derek Mason’s staff, along with offensive coordinator Gerry Gdowski, defensive coordinator Jason Tarver and offensive line coach Cameron Norcross.

Brown is a native of Seattle and was a graduate assistant there, so it makes sense that he’d return to his home state.

He also played for Mason when Mason was an assistant at Stanford.
