SEC East defenses have been put on notice: Ke’Shawn Vaughn is returning to Vanderbilt for the 2019 season.
Vaughn’s 1,244 rushing yards on the year did not get the same as attention as Texas A&M RB Trayveon Williams (1,760 yards) or Kentucky RB Benny Snell Jr. (1,449 yards), but in average yards per carry, Vaughn bested them both – and every other SEC ball-carrier – at an elite 7.92 yards per attempt.
The electric play-maker is a big reason why Vanderbilt led the SEC in rushing plays of 40-yards or more.
He shared the big news in a tweet:
To clear up any confusion, I am sliding back to Vandy for my 5th year.** #MambaBack🖐🏾 pic.twitter.com/xl5jj4bt6a
