It might take some time for college football fans tuning into this Saturday’s Vanderbilt-Purdue matchup to figure out which team is which. With both schools primarily using black and gold as its’ official colors, the uniforms are bound to look the same.

That is why the Commodores have let people know three days ahead to know what to look for (and to root for) when Derek Mason’s team takes the field.

It will be all-white uniforms with the standard gold helmets for the Commodores as they take the field at Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette, Ind. to battle the Boilermakers as both teams look for their first win of the season. Vanderbilt dropped to SEC East foe Georgia 30-6 in a home opener while Purdue lost a heartbreaker to Nevada, 34-31, on a last-second field goal.
