Vanderbilt saw the transfer portal claim several of its players on Monday, including a former 4-star recruit.

Two key defensive backs — safety Brendon Harris and cornerback Gabe Jeudy-Lally — both announced their intentions to transfer. Harris, who will have 2 years of eligibility remaining, was a 4-star recruit out of the 2018 recruiting cycle and was ranked the No. 25 player in the country at his position by 247Sports. He totaled 34 tackles as a senior in 2021. Jeudy-Lally, a junior with 3 years of eligibility left, was 5th on the Commodores with 50 tackles while adding an interception.

Vandy also saw wide receiver Cam Johnson enter the portal on Monday. Johnson made 34 catches for 327 yards and 4 touchdowns in 2021, a year after he made 56 catches for 545 yards and 3 touchdowns.

The Commodores saw their season end with a 45-21 loss to Tennessee on Saturday. Clark Lea’s team finishes the year at 2-10, with an 0-8 mark in the SEC.
