WATCH: Derek Mason discusses Vanderbilt’s cold, wet spring showcase

Vanderbilt held its spring showcase on Saturday, even as the weather in Nashville looked much more like winter.

Despite the cold, rainy weather, though, the Commodores took the field and ran some plays in front of a sparse crowd. As coach Derek Mason tries to get his team to improve on last year’s disappointing campaign, he’ll need big performances from players all over the field, so this was a good chance for him to get a first look at his 2018 squad.
