Former Alabama RB Derrick Henry tweeted a picture from the 2013 U.S. Army All-American Bowl with Greg Bryant, who passed Sunday.

While people immediately think of Bryant’s family and his former teammates at American Heritage high school and Notre Dame, it’s easy to forget that many high school football players who never play together develop friendships from frequently crossing paths at all-star games, competition camps and college visits.
Henry’s tweet also references the tragic passing of former Alabama RB Altee Tenpenny last fall. Bryant, Tenpenny and Henry were all part of the 2013 recruiting class.
