Alabama and Nick Saban are bringing back one of their own.

Former safety Nick Perry is returning to the Tide as a graduate assistant, according to AL.com.

Perry played for Alabama and helped the Tide win the SEC Championship in 2014 and advance to the first-ever College Football Playoff. He posted 80 tackles and two INTs during his redshirt senior season.

Following Alabama, Perry played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens after not being selected in the 2015 NFL Draft.

The Prattville native likely replaces Clint Trickett (former FSU and WVU QB), who was set to become the Tide’s graduate assistant before leaving to join Lane Kiffin’s staff at FAU.
