Alabama defensive end Jonathan Allen and linebacker Reuben Foster have opted to decline their Senior Bowl invites, per CBS Sports NFL draft analyst Dane Brugler.

This comes to no surprise, as both are considered top-10 selections in April’s draft and can do very little to improve their stock with another in-game performance after such stellar careers in Tuscaloosa.

Bleacher Report lead draft writer Matt Miller lists Foster and Allen as his No. 3 and 5 overall prospects, respectively, in his latest big board rankings. Walter Football’s most recent mock draft has Allen falling to the Jacksonville Jaguars at No. 4 overall and Foster heading to the Arizona Cardinals at No. 13.

In 2016, both players served as vital pieces to what was one of the most dominate defensive units in college football over the last decade.

Allen totaled 69 tackles (career-high 16 for loss) and a team-high 10.5 sacks as a senior this past season, while Foster contributed a team-high 115 tackles (13 for loss) and five sacks of his own.
