Henderson is a huge pickup for Auburn in this cycle. He’s the No. 113 overall player and the No. 8 running back in the country for the class of 2025, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 11 player from the state of Alabama.
Henderson attends Elba High School in Elba, Alabama. He’s listed at 5-foot-9, 200 pounds.
Auburn initially offered Henderson a scholarship back in March of 2022. He’s taken multiple visits to campus over the last year, including one as recently as last month. Henderson’s other offers include Miami, Florida State and Alabama, amongst other top programs.
Auburn is now up to 16 commits in the class of 2025. The group sits at No. 4 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings. If this class remains in the top-10 through signing day, that would mean back-to-back seasons of top-10 classes for Hugh Freeze and his staff.
The 2024 campaign will be a big one for Freeze and the Tigers. Auburn’s 2024 regular-season win total currently sits at 7.5, per FanDuel.
