Despite report, Carl Lawson’s father pumps brakes on son being NFL-bound

Carl Lawson’s father is denying a report that his son has made a decision to forego his fourth season and enter the NFL Draft.
Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net tweeted on Wednesday afternoon that Lawson would leave, even saying his father was evaluating agents.
Told Carl Lawson/DL/Auburn will enter the draft. Father vetting agents and telling people son is leaving for the NFL.

However, Carl Lawson Sr. says his son, who is a third-year sophomore, is still thinking about it, and told Auburn Undercover that.
“He has not decided either way,” his father said via text message to Auburn Undercover during halftime. “He’s only focused on and talking about Memphis.”
