Former Gator Trey Burton delivered a play that Philadelphia Eagles fans won’t soon forget.

His touchdown pass to Eagles quarterback Nick Foles on a trick play at the end of the first half of Super Bowl LII will be forever remembered in Philadelphia lore. The man who did it all in Gainesville showed off his versatile skill set at the perfect time.

But unfortunately for Burton, it appears that he’ll be looking for a new home to make some memories.

According to NJ.com, the Eagles are not expected to re-sign the tight end. Burton, who was undrafted out of Florida in 2014, reportedly didn’t consider Philadelphia’s contract offer very serious.

Burton likely won’t have to look very hard to find a new home. In addition to his Super Bowl heroics, he caught 23 passes for 248 yards and 5 touchdowns in a backup role to Pro Bowler Zach Ertz.

In 4 seasons with the Eagles, Burton racked up 63 catches for 629 yards and 6 touchdowns.

And most importantly, he completed the only pass attempt of his career.
