Former Florida do-it-all Trey Burton threw a TD pass to QB Nick Foles in Super Bowl 52.

The play happened late in the second quarter just before halftime. The Eagles were up 15-12 and facing fourth and goal from the two yard-line. Eagles head coach Doug Peterson dialed up a TE reverse pass. The back took the direct snap and pitched it back to Burton who then threw it to the wide open QB Foles.

The score put the Eagles up 22-12 over the Patriots late in the second quarter just before halftime.

While at Florida, Burton played a number of positions under Urban Meyer. He signed as a QB, but he played some WR, TE and fullback, among others. He’s proven to be a serviceable NFL player.

You can bet he’ll never forget this one.
