The Georgia Bulldogs had offered their coaching job to Thad Matta, but he turned them down. Now, though, it seems they have found a new coach.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Bulldogs are finalizing a deal with Tom Crean to be the new coach of the program.

Woj tweeted the news on Thursday night, and it appears the Dawgs will soon make news of Mark Fox’s replacement official:

Crean coached at Indiana from 2008 to 2017, leading the Hoosiers to the Sweet 16 three times. He also led Marquette to the Final Four back in 2003.
