LSU welcomed Joe Burrow—or as he’s known in the streets of Louisiana, Joe Burreaux—by way of a hype video as he made his return to Louisiana to face the New Orleans Saints along with star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase.

The video showed Burrow running out on the field in Caesar’s Superdome, shifting back and forth between then and when he ran out in his “Burreaux” jersey in Death Valley. It then cut to Burrow and Chase’s highlights from the game.

It was reminiscent of their time in Baton Rouge.

The tandem that brought LSU a national championship in 2019 wasted no time making it known that they were back.

Burrow ran for a touchdown and threw for 300 yards and 3 scores, 2 of which went to Chase. Chase added 132 yards as the Bengals defeated the Saints 30-26, capping it off with a go-ahead 60 yard touchdown reception.
