Just weeks before National Signing Day, LSU is losing one of its top recruiters.

Running backs coach Frank Wilson is taking the University of Texas at San Antonio head coaching job, a source told The Advocate.

Wilson has been at LSU for six seasons.

The Tigers currently have the No. 1 recruiting class in the country, and Wilson’s departure will be interesting to watch, especially since he’s the staff’s recruiting coordinator.

Wilson was making $650,000 per year at LSU, and he’s expected to make $750,000 at UTSA, according to reports.
