Williams remained motionless on the field for about 10 minutes following a Bulldogs’ field goal in the third quarter of their 40-38 loss at Kentucky. He was transported to a local hospital and later regained some movement.

The football team’s official Twitter accounted on Sunday posted an update on Williams’ injury, saying that he was “doing fine” and would rejoin the team later in the week. There has been no further update on his status since then.
