Last month, former Missouri QB Eddie Printz revealed his decision to transfer.

According to SEC Country, Printz has made the decision to next play at Texas State, where he will attend graduate school after completing his degree in May.

The report cites his father as a source, and names Hawaii, Troy and Mercer as schools that Printz also considered.

Printz spent much of the 2015 season as the No. 2 quarterback on the Mizzou depth chart following the suspension of former starting QB Maty Mauk, who was ultimately dismissed.

But the chance to back up Drew Lock and be one snap away from playing at Missouri was not enough to sway him from pursuing another opportunity.

With Mauk and Printz out of the 2016 picture, the health of Lock remains of the utmost importance to the Tigers.
