Tyler Badie, who had to be carted off the field at the end of the 1st quarter of Sunday’s game against the New York Jets, is back in Denver with the Broncos and has full movement of his arms and legs, sources told NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport on Monday morning.

The former Missouri star running back did suffer a back injury that could very possibly put him on injured reserve, but there is still a chance he could return this season. On Sunday at MetLife Stadium, as Badie was being carted off on a backboard, that chance didn’t seem at all possible.

Badie caught a pass from Bo Nix on a 3rd-down play shortly before the end of the 1st quarter and was immediately hit by Jets linebacker Quincy Williams for a 4-yard loss and fumbled the ball. Michael Carter II recovered for the Jets.

Badie flew back to Denver on Sunday while accompanied by a member of the Broncos medical staff. The former 1st-team All-SEC and 2nd-team All-American selection in 2021 was examined on Sunday at a New York-area hospital, and it was a positive sign that he was able to fly back to Denver just behind the team.
