DaMarkus Lodge will likely finish out the football season on an NFL roster.

The rookie receiver from Ole Miss was just signed by the Cincinnati Bengals’ practice squad, the team announced on Thursday. Lodge was not drafted in the 2019 NFL Draft but was quickly picked up by Tampa Bay as a free agent.

Leading up to the NFL season opener, Lodge was released by the Bucs and had been searching for a new home in the NFL following his release by the club.

Lodge fills the role on the team’s practice squad left by Damion Willis, who was recently elevated to the active Bengals roster.

During his time in Oxford, Lodge put up big numbers in the Ole Miss offense as he caught 122 passes for 1,790 yards and 14 touchdowns during his Rebel career.
