Arkansas RB Kody Walker suffered a broken right foot at Tuesday’s practice, according to a press release from the university.

Razorbacks coach Bret Bielema released the following statement on the injury:

“Unfortunately Kody suffered a broken foot during yesterday’s practice. It required surgery that went well today and doctors expect a full recovery. It’s a pretty standard foot injury that we’ve dealt with in the past and we expect him to be full-go by June. If anyone knows how to battle adversity it’s Kody Walker.”

Walker rushed for 394 yards and six touchdowns on 90 carries during the 2015 season.

He is expected to be a major contributor in 2016 for a Razorbacks backfield that is likely to see both Jonathan Williams and Alex Collins drafted during this month’s NFL Draft.
