Auburn’s 2015 season opener against Louisville on Sept. 5 in Atlanta and Georgia’s SEC opener at Vanderbilt — the network’s first trip to Nashville — the following week will be televised on CBS during the coveted 3:30 p.m. afternoon time slot, the network announced Thursday.

The neutral-site Alabama vs. Wisconsin showdown has already been set for a prime-time kickoff during opening weekend on ABC.

Auburn’s road game at LSU will also be aired in the 3:30 p.m. slot on Sept. 19, hosted by longtime announcers Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson. The Florida-Georgia game on Halloween and Missouri’s battle at Arkansas are the only other announced 3:30 kickoffs this season.

In 2008, CBS inked a 15-year deal with the SEC for TV and digital rights. According to the contract, ‘the deal gives the broadcaster a football “Game of the Week,” along with prime-time and double-header windows. CBS also will have a noon window for some football games.’
