The website NationalChamps.net releases an “Early Bird Preview” every year when it tries to predict what the preseason top 25 will look like eight months later, and for 2015 it likes the same six teams that are currently atop the college playoff rankings.

Only it has TCU at No. 1, and no Southeastern Conference team in the top four.

How accurate is the preview? The website boasts that that hit seven of the top 10 teams in this year’s initial preseason Associated Press Poll, and has nailed nine of the top 10 in six of the last ten years.
