3 former SEC players selected during Major League Football’s ‘franchise player’ draft

Did you think you had seen the last of former South Carolina QB Stephen Garcia on the football field?

Think again.

He was one of three former SEC players selected in the “franchise player” portion of the initial draft for Major League Football on Wednesday.

MLFB is an eight-team league that will play its first season in the spring in an attempt to quench the unending thirst of football fans.

Former Razorbacks WR Joe Adams was the league’s No. 1 pick.

Here’s a look at the first eight players taken in its initial draft:

The league will continue its draft to fill out rosters on Thursday and Friday.
