Which programs will welcome star-studded 2015 signing classes on Wednesday? The usual suspects are at the top, but there’s several others currently ranked toward the bottom of most SEC projections that could rise numerous spots by luring targets who haven’t yet announced.

Predictions for the SEC’s top uncommitted players including five-stars Byron Cowart, CeCe Jefferson and Martez Ivey who are announcing on Wednesday are based on our previous projections.

1. ALABAMA

Unless something strange happens over the next 48 hours (like Nick Saban announcing that he’s stepping down), the Crimson Tide should finish with the nation’s top-ranked class for the fifth consecutive year, an unprecedented run of dominance littered with five-star prospects eager to develop within an elite program.

Notable commits: Five-star QB Blake Barnett; Five-star WR Calvin Ridley; Five-star CB Kendall Sheffield
Signing Day surprise: Four-star WR K.J. Hill (recent Arkansas decommit)

2. TENNESSEE

If the Vols can flip Ole Miss commit Drew Richmond on Wednesday, Tennessee will finish with a 30-member class ranked above all others in the Eastern Division and in the Top 5 nationally. The Vols are also in the mix for four-star tackle Patrick Allen, the team’s top remaining uncommitted target.

Notable commits: Five-star DE Kyle Phillips; Five-star RB Alvin Kamara; Five-star DT Kahlil McKenzie
Signing Day surprise: Four-star OT Drew Richmond (Ole Miss commit)

3. GEORGIA

Following a recent string of decommitments and last week’s notable flip, the Bulldogs are hoping to hold onto a class currently ranked sixth nationally and third overall in the SEC behind Alabama and Tennessee. Georgia could slide out of the Top 5 in the league if Mark Richt misses out on in-state product Roquan Smith and loses five-star commit Terry Godwin.

Notable commits: Five-star DT Trent Thompson; Five-star ATH Terry Godwin; Four-star S Rashad Roundtree
Signing Day surprise: Four-star LB Roquan Smith

4. LSU

With the recent acquisition of defensive coordinator Kevin Steele, the Tigers are in the mix for several recently decommitted defensive players including Arden Key and Leo Lewis. If LSU can bring in both on Wednesday, Les Miles will lock in a Top 5 class in the SEC this spring.

Notable commits: Five-star CB Kevin Toliver II; Five-star WR Tyron Johnson; Five-star ATH Donte Jackson
Signing Day surprise: Four-star DE Arden Key; Four-star ATH Daylon Charlot; Four-star LB Leo Lewis

5. AUBURN

One of two teams (Florida) looking to benefit the most on Wednesday from uncommitted announcements, Will Muschamp’s hiring has provided the Tigers with serious momentum on the recruiting and a key element in possibly landing five-star pass rushers CeCe Jefferson and Byron Cowart — the nation’s top-ranked player. Getting both to sign will be difficult.

Notable commits: Five-star RB Jovon Robinson; Four-star ATH Kerryon Johnson
Signing Day surprise: Five-star DE Byron Cowart

6. TEXAS A&M

The Aggies got great news last week when sought-after quarterback Kyler Murray reaffirmed his commitment to Texas A&M. Five-star defensive tackle Daylon Mack was once committed, but now TCU and Texas have the lead for his services.

Notable commits: Five-star QB Kyler Murray; Five-star WR Christian Kirk
Signing Day surprise: Five-star DT Daylon Mack

7. FLORIDA

Currently ranked 12th in the SEC with just 14 commits, Jim McElwain’s prepping for a possible seismic Wednesday. The Gators are in the mix for several uncommitted five-stars. The Gators landed four-star ballcarrier Jordan Scarlett. If Florida hauls in three five-stars this week, the Gators will make a sizable leap from their current position (45th overall in the country).

Notable commits: Four-star wide receiver Derrick Dillon; Four-star RB Jordan Scarlett
Signing Day surprise: Five-star OL Martez Ivey; Five-star DE CeCe Jefferson

8. OLE MISS

Flipping Georgia commit Van Jefferson was a great grab for the Rebels who are trying to add to a well-established receiving corps with uncommitted prospect DaMarkus Lodge on Wednesday. Tennessee is close to flipping four-star Drew Richmond, one of the key pieces within Ole Miss’ incoming haul up front led by Javon Patterson.

Notable commits: Five-star OL Javon Patterson; Four-star WR Van Jefferson
Signing Day surprise: Four-star WR DaMarkus Lodge

9. SOUTH CAROLINA

The Gamecocks’ class once hovered around the Top 5 nationally before being ravaged by several notable decommitments including four-star corner Mark Fields (now Clemson commit). Securing four-star tackle Christian Pellage was huge last week and South Carolina’s still holding out hope for twice-committed pass rusher Arden Key.

Notable commits: Four-star DE Marquavius Lewis; Four-star ATH Jaylen Christian; Four-star OL Zack Bailey
Signing Day surprise: None

10. MISSISSIPPI STATE

Notable commits: Four-star S Jamal Peters; Four-star DE Fletcher Adams
Signing Day surprise: Four-star OL Tommy Champion; Three-star DT Courtney Miggins

11. MIZZOU

Notable commits: Four-star QB Drew Lock; Four-star RB Natereace Strong
Signing Day surprise: Five-star DL Terry Beckner Jr.

12. ARKANSAS

Notable commits: Four-star DT Hjalte Froholdt; Four-star DE Jamario Bell
Signing Day surprise: Three-star LB Kendrick Jackson (recent Arizona decommit)

13. KENTUCKY

Notable commits: Four-star TE C.J. Conrad; Four-star LB Eli Brown
Signing Day surprise: None

14. VANDERBILT

Notable commits: Four-star LB Josh Smith; Four-star CB Donovan Sheffield; Four-star QB Kyle Shurmur
Signing Day surprise: None
