Myles Garrett is in good company. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft became the ninth Texas A&M star taken in the first round of the draft in the past seven years.

He’ll have to work to match some of the accolades these fellow Aggies have accumulated.

Here’s a look at the 10 best players from Texas A&M who are active players on NFL rosters. While all starred in College Station, not all were played in the SEC.

Texas A&M has had six top-10 picks in the past seven NFL Drafts.

10. Brandon Williams, CB, Arizona

A running back at Texas A&M, Williams totaled 870 yards rushing and four rushing touchdowns over four seasons. He was taken in the third round of the 2016 draft. In his rookie season at corner for the Cardinals, Williams played in 13 games and recorded 26 tackles.

9. Damontre Moore, DE, Dallas

Moore, a third-round pick in 2013, piled up 197 tackles in three seasons at Texas A&M, including 45 tackles for loss and 26.5 sacks. In five NFL seasons, he has 77 tackles, including 10 sacks. After stops in New York, Miami and Seattle, he’s back in Texas with the Cowboys.

8. Cedric Ogbuehi, OT, Cincinnati

Ogbuehi, a first-rounder in 2015, worked his way into the Bengals’ offensive line after playing in just five games as a rookie. He started his first NFL game last season, one of 12 starts for the year. He played in 14 games in 2016.

7. Martellus Bennett, TE, Green Bay

In three seasons at Texas A&M, Bennett piled up 1,246 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns on 105 catches. He was a second-round pick in 2008. Last season he played in every game for the world champion New England Patriots. He was second on the team with 55 receptions and 701 receiving yards, and led all Patriots’ receivers with seven touchdown catches.

He had five catches for 62 yards in the Super Bowl victory over Atlanta.

6. Luke Joeckel, OT, Seattle

The 2012 Consensus All-American and Outland Trophy winner was among the best to ever play his position at Texas A&M.

Jacksonville drafted him second overall in 2013. He started 39 games in four seasons with the Jaguars but struggled before eventually sliding to guard. He had knee surgery last October and recently signed a one-year deal with the Seahawks.

5. Germain Ifedi, OT, Seattle

A finished product coming out of Texas A&M, Ifedi was a late first-rounder in 2016. He started 13 regular season and both postseason games as a rookie for the Seahawks. He started all 37 games of his college career with the Aggies.

4. Ryan Tannehill, QB, Miami

Third in the Big 12 with 29 touchdown passes in 2011, Tannehill ranked fourth in the conference in pass completions (327) attempts (531), yards per play (6.9) and total yards (4,050).

He was a first-round pick in 2012, the third quarterback taken after Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III went Nos. 1-2, respectively.

In five seasons, Tannehill is 37-40 and has thrown for 18,455 yards and 106 touchdowns.

3. Mike Evans, WR, Tamp Bay

The consensus All-American at Texas A&M in 2013, Evans led the SEC with 12 touchdown receptions and was second in the conference in receiving yards per reception with an average of 20.2 yards per catch, which also ranked seventh in the nation.

Tampa Bay selected him No. 7 overall in the 2014 draft, and Evans quickly emerged as one of the league’s toughest matchups.

Evans has scored 27 NFL touchdowns for the Buccaneers over three seasons, compiling 3,578 receiving yards (238 receptions) in the process.

2. Jake Matthews, OT, Atlanta

The Falcons picked a polished athlete out of Texas A&M. Matthews hit the ground running in the NFL, starting 15 games as a rookie and all 16 games the past two seasons.

1. Von Miller, LB, Denver

Impossible to believe now, but Miller was just a 3-star prospect coming out of DeSoto, Texas. He was the No. 238-ranked player in the 2007 class.

He’s a five-time Pro Bowler, Super Bowl champion and Super Bowl MVP now.

He has piled up 338 tackles, including 73.5 sacks in his first six seasons with Denver.
