Though Texas A&M didn’t best No. 1 Alabama in most facets during its 45-23 loss last Saturday, punter Braden Mann got the better of his counterpart.

In fact, Mann’s punting performance went down as the best in NCAA history.

The junior’s average of 60.8 yards per attempt was the most ever in a single college football game. Mann booted five punts against the Crimson Tide, his longest going for 65 yards to help him beat the previous single-game record by less than half a yard.

Through four games, Mann’s average of 54.9 yards per punt is tops in the country, and he should remain a potent weapon for the Aggies as they progress through their SEC schedule.
