4-star ATH opens up recruitment after Tennessee assistant’s departure

Four-star ATH Alontae Taylor has a great relationship with Tennessee coach Butch Jones, but with wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni leaving to join the Chicago Bears, he’s looking at his options.
Taylor addressed the status of his UT pledge on Twitter in light of Azzanni’s departure:
Azzanni was Taylor’s primary recruiter, indicating that the Vols planned to use the 4-star athlete at wide receiver. Taylor, a product of Coffee County Central (Manchester, Tenn.), originally committed to Tennessee on June 18. He has 17 other offers, including Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt.
The 6-foot, 182-pounder is rated the No. 256 overall recruit, No. 20 athlete and No. 8 Tennessee prospect by the 247Sports Composite. His highlights can be viewed below:
