The long-awaited Battle at Bristol matchup between Tennessee and Virginia Tech is less than two weeks away. The stadium is already being set up in preparation for its first football game ever, with crews setting up goal posts and field turf Monday.

The game’s trophy was also present on the field as the goal posts were being installed.

Tennessee and Virginia Tech will play at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday, Sept. 10. The game will be the first at a NASCAR stadium and is expected to set a new College Football attendance record with an estimated 160,000. The current record is just over 117,000.
