Here lately, Tennessee has a habit of facing its former coaches on the football field.

This Saturday will be no different as Derek Dooley has officially made his return to Neyland Stadium. Missouri’s first-year offensive coordinator was, of course, the head coach of Tennessee from 2010 to 2012. During that time, Dooley had a 15-21 overall record and a 4-19 SEC mark. Dooley was fired before the 2012 season came to an end, after losing to Vanderbilt 41-18.

Dooley’s then-offensive coordinator Jim Chaney finished out the season as Tennessee’s interim head coach.

Thanks to WATE sports director Marshall Hughes, who posted the following video of social media, we have footage of Dooley returning to Neyland Stadium for the first time since his firing. Dooley took in the scene leading up to kickoff between 6-4 Missouri and 5-5 Tennessee.
