The Vanderbilt-Mississippi State super-regional series in Nashville has turned into the most-exciting series in the NCAA Baseball Tournament.
On Friday night, Mississippi State’s Elijah MacNamee delivered a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Bulldogs a series-opening win.
However, on Saturday night, it was Vanderbilt’s turn to return the favor. With their backs up against the wall, facing elimination and tied 3-3 in the bottom of the ninth, J.J. Bleday stepped to the plate and launched a homer to straightaway centerfield, as you can see in the video below:

With two incredible finishes to the games in this series, Sunday’s do-or-die Game 3 will be must-see television.
First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. Eastern time and the game can be seen on ESPN2.
