ESPN college football analyst and color commentator Kirk Herbstreit is making his voice be heard regarding an anti-bullying video that went viral on Saturday.

Herbstreit sent out a tweet on Sunday night to Keaton Jones — the Knoxville, Tenn., middle schooler who was captured in a heartbreaking video describing his encounters with bullies.

“Hey Keaton, I’m very sorry you have been going through such tough times,” Herbstreit wrote on Twitter. “You showed a lot of courage by letting people know how some have been treating you.”

Herbie also made a special offer to Jones.

“We would love have you and your family come out to College GameDay anytime you’d like next year,” he said. “You’re always welcome.”

That’s a nice gesture from one of college football’s most recognizable personalities. Hopefully this story will gain even more traction with Herbstreit’s input and support.

Tennessee quarterback Jarrett Guarantano and former UT wide receiver Jayson Swain have already met the young man.
