ESPN host Jemele Hill has been in the news a lot lately, from her criticism of the president on Twitter to speculation about her future at the Worldwide Leader.

It is for the latter reason that Hill is in the news this weekend, as it has been reported that she’ll be leaving ESPN at the end of August.

Per ESPN insider James Miller, Hill and ESPN will be amicably splitting up on Sept. 1. According to Miller, the buyout has been in the works for a while:

What Hill has planned for the future remains to be seen, but whatever it is apparently won’t be with ESPN.

Miller taking extra care to point out that it is an “amicable departure” seems to indicate that Hill isn’t being punished for her Twitter presence.
