Harvard-Yale game delayed after students, faculty storm the field and refuse to leave
The annual Harvard-Yale rivalry game is usually a contentious one between the two Ivy League Schools.
On Saturday, things got contentious for another reason, as more than 100 protestors stormed the field to protest what they believe to be Harvard and Yale’s parts in contributing to climate change.
The reason for the protest? The people on the field want the universities to divest their holdings in fossil fuels and other areas they deem contribute to climate change:

The protest began just after halftime, with Harvard leading 15-3. The game is currently being delayed.

How long the game will be delayed remains to be seen, but for now, the protestors remain at midfield.
