Media reaction pours in as Sarah Fuller becomes first woman to dress for SEC football program

On Friday, Vanderbilt announced that Commodores women’s soccer player Sarah Fuller would dress out as a placekicker for the football team on Saturday against Missouri. Fuller is far from the first woman to suit up for a college football program, but she becomes the first to do it in SEC history as several Vandy players are under quarantine due to COVID-19 issues.

While Fuller will be on the roster as an option for the team if it needs her, all eyes will be on the game to see if she does indeed receive an opportunity to come in to kick.
