Matt Corral is going to be playing on Sundays (and Mondays and Thursdays) next fall. Heck, he’ll probably be a first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft at this rate.

But, despite that looming massive NFL payday, Corral continues to play for Ole Miss despite an ankle injury.

After a win over Liberty on Saturday, Corral was asked why he continues to play through the pain and risk further injury.

When you’ve got a guy like that leading your team, it’s no wonder teammates are willing to run through a brick wall for him.

That’s what leadership looks like.
