Alabama drawing concern across social media tied at halftime vs. Texas

Alabama is locked in a tight one with Texas in Austin at halftime, as the 2 teams are tied at 10.

Nick Saban is going up against Steve Sarkisian, his offensive coordinator for 2 years before his departure to helm the Longhorns program. A defeat of the No. 1 team in the country after a 6-7 record in 2021 would be the signature win Texas fans have been waiting for.

Meanwhile, for the Crimson Tide, an early season loss may not erase their College Football Playoff hopes, but the margin of error will be razor-thin the rest of the way. It would be the earliest loss of the Nick Saban era.

While the Crimson Tide may have been projected to have an easier time on Saturday, there’s still a half of football remaining. But the 1st half hasn’t been close to their standards , and if not for a bad snap on a 20-yard Texas field goal attempt, Alabama would have been down at the break.
