Alabama QB commitment Tua Tagovailoa just dropped a bomb as it pertains to the recruitment of top 2017 RB Najee Harris.

While both are pledges to Nick Saban’s program, rumors have swirled about Harris potentially switching his commitment over to Michigan. This would be a massive development — considering the nation’s top running back has been committed to Alabama for months.

On Wednesday, Tagovailoa slipped some news on the recruitment to 247Sports. Both athletes are playing in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday. They are then scheduled to fly the next day as early enrollees to Alabama — though the status of Harris has been up in the air.

Here’s what Tagovailoa had to say about Harris:

“Everybody is making up stories, and making up stories I think to Michigan is what everyone is saying. [We are] on the same flight [from San Antonio to Birmingham on Sunday].”

Barring some crazy flight snafu, it appears as if Alabama will bring in the dynamic running back out of California — further strengthening an already ridiculous backfield.
