Alabama put together an incredible 2022 recruiting class, but on Monday, the class reportedly lost a key player.
Per Jerell Rushin of the Tuscaloosa News, 4-star DL Walter Bob will not sign with the Crimson Tide on National Signing Day on Wednesday.
Per Rushin’s tweet, Bob will reportedly enroll at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas instead, spending a couple of years in the JUCO ranks before heading to Tuscaloosa:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Bob is a 4-star defensive lineman out of Lafayette, Louisiana — the No. 38 overall defensive lineman in the class of 2022 and the No. 15 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.
We’ll see if Bob thrives in the JUCO ranks and is able to return to Alabama in a couple of years.
