Alabama pulled off a major comeback after going down big against Tennessee Saturday.

The Tide trailed by 13 at the half, but scored 27 unanswered to come out of the game with a revenge win following Tennessee’s win last year.

The comeback win marked an impressive stat for Alabama. It was the largest halftime comeback at home for the Tide since the 1995 game against Southern Miss and the 3rd-largest halftime comeback at home in school history.

The comeback was sparked by a huge opening drive out of the half. It took Alabama just 2 plays to score, getting into the endzone on a 46 yard pass from Jalen Milroe to Isaiah Bond. From there, Tennessee had no answers and the Tide cruised to win.

Now Alabama’s race for the SEC West title continues. The Tide get a week off with the bye next weekend, but then will have one of their biggest games of the season against LSU.
