Alabama clarifies purpose of Tua Tagovailoa’s Thursday afternoon press conference

Star Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa will meet with media members on Thursday afternoon, and many wondered if he’d announce his 2020 NFL Draft decision.
However, it does not appear that will be the case, according to Alabama’s Twitter account.
Per the tweet below, Tagovailoa will indeed meet with the press, but he will not be making an announcement one way or the other:
To clarify for everyone, Tua will meet with the local press today, but no announcement will be made.

Of course, that won’t stop press members from asking about his draft plans, so we’ll see if Tagovailoa shares any insight on a timeline for his decision.
We’ll see what other tidbits of information come out of this afternoon’s press conference.
