Good news here for Alabama fans, junior defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs is coming back for a chance to defend the title.

The former junior college transfer announced the news Thursday morning on Twitter.

After starting 12 games in his first season in Tuscaloosa, Buggs improved his NFL stock considerably but mentioned his desire to chase another title in his statement. He made 46 tackles and pressured opposing quarterbacks seven times, which was good for second on the team. He signed with the Tide over LSU and Auburn after being ranked among the nation’s best junior college prospects.
