The Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday. It was closer than Bama fans would like, but a conference win is a conference win.

The win moves the Tide to 4-0 in conference and 6-1 overall. Now, the Tide will prepare to host a Tennessee team that just defeated Texas A&M.

Off the field, the Tide secured a big in-state commitment after the win on Saturday. Myles Johnson, an athlete from T.R. Miller High School in the 2025 class, took to social media to announce his decision.

“It’s a dream come true,” Johnson said. “To be honest, the day that I got the offer was the day I realized it was home.”

Johnson is listed as the No. 23 athlete in the 2025 class and the No. 24 prospect in the state of Alabama, according to 247Sports.

Johnson primarily plays linebacker for his high school team. The athlete also received significant interest from Liberty and Mississippi State. The Tide have the No. 2 recruiting class in the nation for 2025, already with 2 5-stars and 7 overall commits.
