Alabama LB Rashaan Evans would like a live elephant mascot
In the wake of LSU mascot Mike VI’s death, Alabama LB Rashaan Evans was asked about having a mascot for the Crimson Tide.
He said he’d be in favor of getting an elephant to lead the team on the field before games:

Evans added that he’d love to not only have the elephant lead the team onto the field, but have a couple of players ride in on the elephant’s back:

Evans is right — there’s no way Nick Saban would risk injury by letting his players ride an elephant into the stadium before games.
Still, it’s a fun idea and it would be awesome to see.
