Alabama OL withdraws from transfer portal after recent entry
Alabama offensive lineman Elijah Pritchett has had a hectic past 24 hours.
The Alabama tackle entered the transfer portal after 2 seasons with the Crimson Tide Friday night, but after less than a day he’s back with Alabama. He told On3Sports Saturday that transferring is simply no longer in his best interest.
Pritchett will have 3 seasons of eligibility remaining after redshirting his freshman year of 2022.
NEWS: Alabama OT Elijah Pritchett tells @on3sports he is no longer transferring from Alabama:
“Transferring is not in my best interest. I apologize for any and all inconveniences. I’m 100% locked in. ROLL TIDE!”https://t.co/bLpw3smqis https://t.co/yI6tNhWrwO

Pritchett played well during his first playing season at Alabama, appearing in all 13 games for the Tide this past season. The former 5-star prospect stands at 6-6, 235 pounds and, in all likelihood, will play a higher role alongside the Alabama O-line next season.
Alabama’s season, of course, is far from over. The Tide will take on No. 1 Michigan at the Rose Bowl at 5 p.m. ET on Jan. 1. The game will be aired on ESPN and the winner takes on the winner of Washington/Texas for the national title.
