Anthony Rogers, a top 10 RB in the class, reopened his recruitment, he revealed on Sunday. He also named Georgia and Ohio State as his finalists.

The Montgomery, Alabama product had been committed to the Crimson Tide since June 2023. He is the No. 8 running back in the country and the No. 10 player in Alabama.
Ohio State remained heavily involved even after his commitment, with Rogers taking an official visit to Columbus on Nov. 9 for the Buckeyes’ game against Purdue. That led to Sunday’s events, with him ultimately opting to leave the Tide’s 2025 class. It is still ranked No. 3 in the country according to 247Sports.
Despite Rogers’ decision, the Tide still have a running back in the fold. Akylin Dear, rated the No. 2 player at his position, committed in August and still appears poised to make it official when the Early Signing Period opens on Dec. 4.
But Rogers’ decommitment marks the third in the last five days for the Alabama program. Caleb Cunningham, the nation’s No. 2 wide receiver and a July commitment for the Tide, flipped to Ole Miss on Wednesday; top 15 linebacker Dawson Merritt flipped to Nebraska a day later after pledging to Alabama in June.
