Days after winning the 2020 Heisman Trophy, Alabama wide receiver DeVonta Smith has hauled in another award.

Smith has been named the winner of the 2020 Biletnikoff Award, given to the best wide receiver in the country. The senior put together a prolific season, making 105 catches for 1,641 yards and 20 touchdowns. He had a career-best 231 yards against LSU on Dec. 5, one of 2 games where he broke the 200-yard receiving mark.

The Amite, La. product—who spurned the Tigers to instead play for Nick Saban at Alabama—will depart Tuscaloosa as one of the best wideouts in SEC history.

His 43 touchdowns going into Monday’s College Football Playoff National Championship Game against Ohio State smashed the SEC record set by former Tide great Amari Cooper and former Florida star Chris Doering. With just 10 yards on Monday, he will pass Vanderbilt’s Jordan Matthews for the most in conference history. He is also 7th all-time in receptions among SEC players.

Smith’s freshman year ended with the famous “2nd-and-26” catch that won Alabama the title over Georgia to close the 2017 season. He now has a chance to cap his legendary career with another championship.
